Presentation Description: Based on behavioral research and active case investigations by the FBI’s National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime (NCAVC), this presentation will provide attendees in private industry and the security field with the skills to recognize patterns of behavior and indicators of potential active shooter incidents in the workplace, campus, school, and judicial environments. Through case studies, recorded interviews with surviving offenders, and the review of communications left by deceased and captured offenders, you will learn to recognize developing patterns of threatening behavior in persons of interest, indicators of imminent danger, and effective strategies for active shooter threat management and mitigation.
